She is the founder of Shine Healing Ministries and author of Shining Freely and The 40-Day Journey. With 20 years of experience in the area of trauma and healing, Josie has a way of creating restorative, rest-filled spaces where God’s transforming love can be experienced in extraordinary ways. Her own journey through unexpected loss and compassion fatigued has fueled her dream of opening a retreat center for women, ministry leaders & fellow “healers” called, Selah Ranch. It is a creative oasis and rest-filled space that brings together a collective experience of nature, contemplative practices, and undistracted-time away in God’s presence. Josie enjoys speaking, writing, and creating experiences that restore the heart, mind, and body. She is learning how to ride the roller coaster of being a momma to two teen-girls, juggle work, home, and ministry and hopefully grow in childlike faith & trust along the way!
